Banjo Player | Bright Star | Northfield Arts Guild Theater

Rate of Pay: 

Northfield Arts Guild Theater is seeking a Banjo Player for our March 2022 production of Bright Star. 

Our consistent expectation for the quality of theatrical productions at the Northfield Arts Guild is high, but our primary objective is to provide a creative outlet that is enjoyable for everyone involved. We realize that our pit orchestra members volunteer more time and energy than we could ever fully compensate. The stipend for Banjo player is negotiable– please reach out if you are interested and we can discuss compensation.

Show Dates: March 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00, Sundays at 2:00. Tech week will run the week leading up to opening night (Feb. 28- March 3). Auditions will take place November 7 and 8. 

Rehearsals: There will be 3 or 4 pit only rehearsals in January and February (weekends, times vary). Tech week rehearsals are Sunday, Feb. 27- Thursday, March 3. Tech week rehearsals are from approximately 6:30-10 pm. 

Covid-19 precautions: The Northfield Arts Guild is requiring proof of vaccination against the Covid-19 virus for all participants, audience members, and production staff. Masks are required for all large gatherings or times when social distancing is not possible. We are closely watching CDC recommendations, and reserve the right to change any of these policies at any time.
