Beauty and the Beast

Fridley Community Theatre is inviting talent to audition for the upcoming performance of Beauty and the Beast, the Disney musical and international sensation. 

Auditions will be held on Sunday, May 7 from 2-4 pm, Thursday, May 11 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, May 13 from 10  am to 1 pm. All dates will be located at the Fridley Community Center, 6085 Seventh Street NE. It is open to anyone age 8 and older.

Please come dressed to move. Do not wear flipflops or heels (unless dance heels).  Please prepare 32 measures of a song not from the show that highlights your singing ability.  A pianist will be available if desired, but provide a clearly marked score.  You will be asked to read cold from the script and taught a short dance routine. Your photo will be taken; a head shot is not needed.

Please bring your schedule of all conflicts from May 7th through July 29th. Performance dates will be July 20, 21, 27, 28 & 29. All cast members are volunteers and are not paid.

Fridley Community Theatre was established in 2010 and produced a well received and highly successful rendition of The Music Man as its inaugural production. Fridley Community Theatre, a program of Fridley Community Education, creates opportunities for individuals of all ages, whether on stage, behind the scenes or in the audience, to actively participate and/or appreciate the performance of live, high quality affordable theater in the Fridley area.
