Turnkey Events and Promotions is an event marketing company that was built from a community need, and has grown through our passion for custom interactive engagement.  We activate in the community as the Twin Cities Road Crew. We have the opportunity to connect organizations with their target market through fun and engaging experiences.  We facilitate our events in schools, and at various community events.

About the Position

The Event Marketing Coordinator will utilize skills, including team-based interaction, project management, goal setting, and administrative support. You will create and manage project plans for various marketing and event activities. Coordinate and schedule events and school programs. You must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills. You must have exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.  This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination, creative work, event coordination, event management, and managing social media content for the organization and staff. This position requires a flexible schedule as events can take place during the week, nights and/or weekends; at times on short notice.


  • Assist in developing, coordinate and execute events, sales, and marketing initiatives

  • Look for and develop community, client contacts and relationships that are beneficial to the Twin Cities Road Crew

  • Professionally lead the on-site events, including client relations, and leading the staff

  • Maintain high standards of performance at community events

  • Time management  

  • Coordinate with event locations- walkthroughs and set up

  • Create games and fun ideas for events

  • Maintain all equipment and promotional items

  • Schedule, staff, and manage events and school programs

  • Assist to recruit, hire, train and develop all event performance road crew members, including DJ’s, part-time road crew and other team members as needed

  • Protect the established Brand and company reputation within community

  • Write and post approved content for social media platforms

  • Take photos of events and provide photo and video recaps to clients

  • Emcee/Host events as needed at community events and school programs

  • Maintain operating budgets



  • 1+ years of promotion experience, special events, and/or media sales, promotions - or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Theater, Education, Business, Marketing and/or promotions

  • Proficient in Microsoft, Powerpoint , Excel, and iMovie

  • Detail oriented and ability to work autonomously

  • Full Time - Flexible schedule, with ability to work nights and weekends

  • Emcee experience (preferred, but not required) willing to train

  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large crowds

  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

  • Able to drive a company van when needed

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time (2+ hours)

  • Must pass background check

All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Base compensation salary starts at $40,000.00 annually plus perks and rewards, negotiable based on each candidate’s experience and qualifications.
