Collide Theatrical Dance Auditions

COLLIDE Theatrical Dance Company is holding annual Company Auditions on Monday June 24. Looking for trained dancers with ballet and jazz technique who have the ability to tell a story through dance. Tap Skills a plus. 

Casting Company Members, Guest Artists and Apprentices for our 2019/2020 Season which includes: 

Romeo & Juliet February 14- 23 at The Cowles Center.  Rehearsals begin in December. Daytime rehearsal availability a MUST. Choreographed by Regina and Associate Choreographer/Director- Heather Brockman with Tap Choreography by Kaleena Miller.

Casting for Mercutio, Tybalt, Benvolio, Paris, Lord Capulet, Lady Montague, Lord Montague, Rosalind, and Ensemble. The titles roles have been cast. 

A Little Princess- May/June 2020 Dates TBA. Daytime rehearsals and Friday evening and Sunday daytimes in Spring. Co-production with the Academy at Collide. Casting for 4-5 Adult Roles. **Please note Student Auditions for this production will take place in January 2020. 

Class of ‘85- May/June 2020 Dates TBA. Daytime rehearsals. Casting 8 dancers. CALLBACKS FOR THIS SHOW WILL HAPPEN IN THE FALL. 

Outreach Company 4-6 Company Dancers who will perform at outreach events including The MN State Fair, Mall of America, and additional paid performances. 

All artists receive competitive pay, free bi-weekly Company Class starting in September 2019 and Complimentary Childcare.

Please bring a hardcopy of your HEADSHOT and RESUME and come prepared to dance with jazz shoes. (Please bring ballet/tap/character heels if possible) 

CALLBACKS at Ashley Ballet Arts:

Monday June 24 3:30-4:30pm

Tuesday June 25 2:00-5:00pm

Thursday June 26 2:00-5:00pm

Auditions will take place at Ashley Ballet Arts Academy -1000 Boone Ave Golden Valley. Free and Easy Parking.
