Costumer & Resident Designer

GREAT Theatre, St. Cloud, Minnesota is ready to begin staffing back up for our return to live performances!  We are seeking an experienced Costumer & Resident Designer to be the head of costume production for GREAT’s stage shows, educational outreach, camps, and other programs. The Costumer & Resident Designer works closely with the Costume Shop Manager, show designers, directors, and other production staff to create amazing productions of professional quality, while creating and executing designs for youth and adult performers using a large, diverse pool of volunteers.

Great River Educational Arts Theatre (GREAT), is a professional community theatre that provides dynamic on-stage programming and innovative off-stage educational outreach throughout central Minnesota. Prior to the pandemic GREAT had a $1.8M budget with 13 full time staff; current budget is $1.1M with 8 full time staff. This is one of multiple planned positions added as we build back.
