Auditions for Safety Off: A Theatrical Discussion on Gun Violence in America; nurtured through Arts Nest's Fledgling Program. Directed by Casey Marie.

Safety Off is a compilation of monologues and scenes meant to provoke a deeper conversation about gun violence and gun control in the United States. Looking for actors who feel strongly about this topic and who want to use theatre as a means of change!

Please prepare 16 bars of an uptempo song (an accompanist will be provided) and dance for movement. You may be asked to do a reading from the script.Rehearsals will be taking place Saturday mornings and music rehearsal one evening a week, please bring all conflicts through December 9th.

Seeking actors for Actors Theatre of Louisville's Professional Training Company. Acting Apprentices perform in their own five-show season, focusing entirely on new works, and culminating in a commissioned work that is a fully-produced as a part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Small roles and understudy positions in the theater's mainstage season are possible, but not guaranteed. Practical audition and business-based training curriculum is provided throughout the year. Industry showcase for casting directors and agents is included at the end of the season.
