Dinosaur Time Trek - National Tour

VStar Entertainment Group is seeking performers for a new national tour, Dinosaur Time Trek, with contracts beginning in November 2017 till early May 2018. We are looking for Puppeteers, Hosts/Emcees, Performers with full-body costume experience, and Entertainment Supervisors to perform in multiple short shows throughout the tours scheduled event dates. These roles will closely interact and engage with large, diverse audiences mostly consisting of kids and families. All roles will be required to participate in light crew duties during the show’s load-in and load-out of each venue. Work days are long and can be scheduled for 10+ hours. Publicity/media training and costume wardrobe knowledge is a plus.

Salary for Performer Roles is $425-$440 weekly, plus a Per Diem of $25/day.

Salary for the Entertainment Supervisor position is $490 weekly, plus a Per Diem of $350 weekly.

ENTERTAINMENT SUPERVISOR Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and supervise overall performances of employees and maintaining show/set quality. Directly supervise a small cast of 2 Puppeteers, 2 Hosts/Emcees, and 1 full-body costume T-Rex. The Entertainment Supervisor must be prepared to step into any of these roles, as needed.
  • Promote positive guest and employee experiences by ensuring that all entertainment elements operate at the optimum performance levels.
  • Address guest and employee concerns, resolve problems or situations involving entertainment elements (personnel and/or technical) and communicate operating and performance issues effectively with employees and senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS: Supervisory, management and/or leadership background and experience preferred. Previous entertainment, theatre, events, theme park experience. Ability to effectively communicate, present information and answer questions in one–on-one and group situations. Able to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
