Lakeshore’s Education department is hiring for winter and spring. We are looking for directors, stage managers, designers, and teaching artists to join our creative teams for our Kids and Family Series. Read on for more information.
THE GIVER Adapted by Eric Coble from the novel by Lois Lowry
A part of the Kids & Family Series, The Giver is theater for the whole family with gender flexible casting and roles for youth & adults. The show will be performed in the Black Box Theater at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND: Under Construction - An On-site, Educational Production Program
Starting with Lewis Carrol’s whimsical tales, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, a cohort of 6th - 9th grade students will reimagine these classics into one brand new stage adaptation. The Director/Teaching Artist will lead the students through a devising process by taking dialogue/characters/scenarios and shaping them into a new script through acting exercises & improv games. The new script will be performed in the Black Box Theater at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center.

For all projects above, designers will receive a stipend of at least $200, and directors/teaching artists/stage managers will receive a stipend of at least $700 for their work. Stipend amounts are based on show budgets & vary by role. Stipends are also commensurate with experience.
