The Emerging Professionals Ensemble (EPE) at the Performing Institute of Minnesota invites all triple threat performers between 16-24 years old to audition for our 4th Annual Summer Production - Pippin. The EPE production of Pippin will tell the story of out-of-work traveling circus performers & carnival workers who take over a shut down drive-in during the time of COVID.
Pippin will be performed July 29 - August 7 in an outdoor, live theatre format with the performance also projected on screens. Rehearsals will run June 5 - July 28, evenings in Eden Prairie. For those without reliable transportation, our Rideshare Program is available for all company members (free for riders, drivers will be compensated). Our hope is that we can reimburse all EP performers and technical crew for gas spent to and from rehearsal & performances, however, full compensation is not guaranteed. This production will follow strict COVID precautions and we expect all company members to be fully vaccinated by the start of rehearsals. For those facing barriers accessing a vaccination site, reach out to ([email protected]).
All roles are available. EPE is committed to greater representation of marginalized identities in leading roles. Deaf and disabled, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, low-income, and immigrant artists are prioritized in our casting process. We welcome all 16-24-year-old performers to audition.
