Freaky Friday Auditions: April 19, 20 or May 23, 24

Callbacks: May 28, 7-10pm 

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.



1 young boy: ages 6-10 (or at least looks the age)

Teenage Girls & Boys ages 13-18 (or at least looks it)

Adult Men & Women (ages 21-99)

What to prepare? 

Music: 16-32 bars of music with piano accompaniment (no acapella auditions) that showcases range and character. Audition music choices should fit with the style of the show.  An accompanist will be provided.

-Monologue: auditionees should prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue.

-Their overall audition package should not exceed 3 minutes.

-Headshots & resumes are encouraged but not required.
