Production presented by Toolbox Theatre

You may sign up to audition either day. If you can’t get in or aren’t available for the auditions, email us. We’ll try out best to meet with you at another time.

Please share a personal short story about your life (approximately 1-2 minutes)-- or a monologue. You’ll also read from the script. Sides will be provided at the audition. The audition space will be open at least 30 minutes before the auditions if you’d like to arrive early to read the sides in advance. You’ll also need to fill out some paperwork. Bring a headshot and resume if you have that.

Rehearsals will be throughout June and July, evenings and weekends. The specific schedule is TBD and will most likely be 3 days a week. The performances will be held at the Ritz Studio Theatre in NE Minneapolis as part of the 2017 Fringe Festival. Must be available for all Fringe performances, tech rehearsal, and have flexibility to rehearse during the summer.

We are looking for skilled actors. We also want the individuals involved to have a love for storytelling and desire to tell this story of overcoming adversity. We’re looking for 2-4 actors with strong acting ability and a team outlook. While this is not a musical theatre show, we are also looking for a talented singer, in addition to people with a movement background.

No Limits was originally produced last year in the 2016 MN Fringe Festival. It got 5 star reviews and was well received by many. No Limits is a show about overcoming challenges. It is based upon Nikki Abramson’s life story- her journey and her own toolbox for maintaining hope, even in difficult times. Learn more about Nikki Abramson at

No Limits was written by Nikki Abramson, Sara Truesdale, and Gizelle Erickson. Last year at Fringe 2016, it was presented as a one-woman show with cameos and multimedia. This summer, we want to expand the production to a larger ensemble.

We’re also exploring opportunities to present in other venues after the Fringe Festival. It could be the start of something very exciting with opportunities for involvement on many levels.

This is a team oriented group, so if you are interested in being involved in a capacity other than performing, please let us know. If you’re not available for Fringe 2017, but would like to be involved in the future or learn more, don’t hesitate to email. We’re so excited to share this message and this story.
