Production titled: Marta’s Cup: is a short film that tells the story of Marta, a 30-something year-old Central American call-center agent victimized by the tyranny of her abusive husband. A foolish mistake in attempt to escape her plight haunts Marta when a fateful caller, Ema, an 80 year-old African American woman calls in for a midnight blue coffee makers. They both soon realize that a cup of coffee can empower them to take a hold of their life and live it on their own terms.

Female Actor (Latinx): to play 28 - 40 year old battered woman. Need to be fluent in Spanish and English. (A diversity of accents are encouraged) Acting experiences a plus, but not required,
Female Actor: to play 30 to 45 year old call center supervisor. Need to be fluent in Spanish and English. All ethnicities welcome. Acting experiences a plus, but not required, but must be eager and have time to learn.
Female Actor (African American): looking for 40 to 65 year actress to play an 80 year-old African American grandmother. Acting experience is needed.
All genders/all ethnicities welcome Extras Looking for 20 to 30 year old to play call center agents Looking for young actors who are looking for film experience. This is a non-paid role, but you will gain lots of experience for your resume.

Bring Headshot if available. Optional one 2 minute monologue (Dramatic or comic) Audition will consist of an interview, script sides and some improvisation. (10 to 12 minutes) Callbacks will be scheduled in later in March.
Main photography: Actors must be available whole day April 28, 29, 30 and/or May 5, 6, and or May 12, 13. Some Mondays might be scheduled)
