Hiring Teaching Artists and Interns

Merrill Arts Center is hiring Instructors for arts classes and camps 

Merrill Arts Center is seeking passionate arts educators for our upcoming education programming which includes: 

Spring Break Arts Sampler:  Hour-long intro sessions in visual arts, music, dance, acting, and literary arts

  • 1st-4th grade and 5th-8th grade 
  • March 11-13
  • 8:30AM- 3:00PM

"The Play's the Thing" Camp: Put on a play in a week! Students are introduced to scene, character, and script work.

  • 1st-4th grade, 5th-8th grade, 9th-12th grade
  • July 8-12
  • 9AM-4PM

Music Theater Camp Jr.: Combined lessons in singing, acting, and dancing through the preparation of an original musical mash-up

  • 1st-3rd and 4th-6th grades
  • June 24-28
  • 9AM-3PM

Music Theater Intensive: Deep dive into musical theater training with individualized lessons for each young artist.

  • 7th-9th grade and 10th-12th grade
  • July 15-26
  • M-F from 9am to 4 pm

Instructor Positions: Must be 21+

Job Roles: Instructors will be responsible for planning and facilitating educational activities and lessons related to the specified arts area.

Compensation: $18/hour 

Intern Positions for Education Programs: Must be 18+

Job Roles: Interns will be responsible for assisting in classes and rehearsals and managing students. 

Compensation: $10/hour
