Theatre Coup d’Etat is seeking non-equity artists for an ongoing workshop of Julius Caesar, adapted by Gary Briggle and directed by Rich Remedios. This project will explore the script over the early part of winter and beyond with the possibility of a future in-person production at a later time. Rehearsals will be via Zoom and will begin after Thanksgiving and be based on artist availability. Casting all roles. This workshop is not a paid project.
Utilizing Zoom for COVID protection measures, Coup d’Etat wants to provide an ongoing project for actors to spend time with a script and one another under the direction of Rich Remedios.

PERFORMANCES AND REHEARSALS
Julius Caesar readings will begin after Thanksgiving, with a one to two-day per week rehearsal schedule based on artist availability.
Auditions and callbacks will be held via Zoom
Gender-inclusive casting of non-union actors of all ages and ethnicities.
BIPOC and members of the LGBTQIA2+ community needed.
Actors are asked to prepare one Shakespeare monologue, no more than 90 seconds.
