Seeking 4 actor/creators of all ages, genders, races and ethnicities who are interested in a collaborative process for a new play by Katie Kaufmann and directed by Genevieve Bennett.
The story follows an unlikely friendship between a modern woman and the first female lighthouse keeper and explores perseverance, duty, isolation, and obsolescence in motherhood and art.
The production will include sections devised by the ensemble, scripted dialog, vocal scoring, and shadow puppetry.
Rehearsals: October 1 – November 9
Production: November 10-19 at the Red Eye Theater

Auditions should consist of two minutes of material that depicts an important event in the Earth’s history. Physicality, sound, language, use of space, and specificity are encouraged. Alternatively, you can perform a 2 min contemporary monologue that highlights your ability to illustrate a story.
