Lakeshore Players Theatre Auditions for "Always, Patsy Cline"
Lakeshore Players Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for non-union actors for:
“Always, Patsy Cline” created by Ted Swindley, Director TBD
How will this work?
At Lakeshore we are committed to create an artistically fulfilling, safe experience for actors.
This is a two-person show that will be filmed indoors on our main stage theater. The filmed production will be streamed virtually from May 7th-16th. The production will be socially distant, with masks required during all rehearsals. We will provide disposable face masks and clear face shields for actors as needed.
WHEN
In-person rehearsals will take place from Monday, March 29th- Thursday, April 22nd, with three days of filming on April 23rd, 24th and 25th.
WHAT TO PREPARE
For Patsy: Please prepare 1-2 minutes of a Patsy Cline or similar- sounding country song.

HOW TO SUBMIT
Please film your audition (on a phone, camera, whatever you have!), submit a one-page headshot and resume as well as the attached conflict sheet to [email protected].
DEADLINE
We’re accepting submissions until Monday, March 8th at 11:00PM.
Brief virtual “callbacks”may be held, if necessary.
SHOW/CAST DESCRIPTIONS
* Patsy Cline: full voiced country Alto (D3-Eb5). Best known for her rich tone, emotionally expressive and bold voice. A country music industry pioneer. Must be a strong singer.
* Louise Seger: Mezzo, with a country flare, (A3-F5). A Houston housewife who became a genuine friend to Patsy Cline. Wisecracking, vivacious, and funny. Looking for a strong actress and singer.
COMPENSATION
A modest stipend will be provided.
