Performer Call

Hosted and Music Directed by Drag Artist and TC based actor Martina Marraccino (Martinoa Mayotte) Directed by Gabe Gabriel

Do you miss singing show tunes with your friends but don’t have time to be in a musical?
Silver Slipper Productions is Seeking musical theatre performers to fill out the cast of the return performance of Martina’s Broadway Cabaret, which features outrageous musical performances from a combination of Musical Theatre and Drag artists.

We have been performing exciting queer and gender non-binary cabarets, circuses and musicals since 2007 with the mission of giving local artists a chance to experiment with material and roles they wouldn’t otherwise perform and audiences a chance to watch a great show at a great price.

  • When and where?

  • What’s the show?

Martina’s Broadway Cabaret is somewhere between musical cabaret and sketch comedy. Shows consist of solos, small group acts and 2 group songs from the whole cast.
Each cabaret has an individual theme or vibe, the directors work with cast members to select material/costuming etc to tie it all together but ultimately cast members have freedom to build  and take ownership of their individual acts.

-2-3 group rehearsals for putting together group numbers
-1 Tech rehearsal in the Phoenix for staging etc

  • Payment?

Our cabarets work on profit share, after expenses the cast splits profit evenly based on the number of acts performed.
