Love Comics - a tongue-in-cheek live action comic book, inspired by the romance comics of the 1940s and '50s, written through a 21st century lens, will be directed by Joe Hendren and perform at Bryant Lake Bowl Feb 8-March 2 for 9 performances. Characters include 2 men and 2 women in their 20s to be played by actors 18+. Rehearsals will begin the first week of January.

Be More Chill - Jeremy is an average high schooler who might just get everything he wants with the help of a tiny supercomputer called “The Squip” - but he gets more than he bargains for when The Squip tries to transform his entire school. Fresh off its sold-out off Broadway run and now headed to its first Broadway season in 2019, MMT is proud to bring this fresh take on the high school musical with a sci-fi twist to life at Illusion Theater April 5-28, 2019, returning to the venue for the first time since 2012. Directed by Sara Pillatzki-Warzeha, Be More Chill features a cast of 10, ages 18+ to play assorted high school misfits and 2 adult men. Rehearsals are expected to begin mid-February.

All actors are paid a stipend.

Auditions will take place at First Congregational Church of MN, 500 8th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.
