Minneapolis Musical Theatre Hiring for 2021 Artistic/Production Staff

Minneapolis Musical Theatre (MMT) is seeking applicants for Artistic and Production positions for proposed productions in 2021. Available positions will vary depending on the show but may include Director, Music Director/Accompanist, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Tech Director/Scenic Designer, Lighting Designer, Prop Designer, Costume Designer/Costumer, Assistant Stage Manager, Fight Coordinator, Set Construction Assistant, Sound Board Operator/Tech, Lighting Assistant, Costume Assistant, Backstage Crew, Assistant Director, and Production Assistant.

MMT is developing a flexible, modular season plan that will allow us to respond to the COVID-19 public health situation as it changes. Our first priority is to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our artists and technicians. This includes potential backup production/performance dates if the conditions do not support moving forward within the original timeframe.

Due to ongoing negotiations with licensing agents and venues, we are unable to publicly disclose the shows for the entire season at this time. However we can discuss titles privately - and those interested in applying are welcome to inquire about more details for specific positions and planned productions. To seek additional information before applying, email [email protected] and list what positions you are interested in learning about for which of the following production timeframes: Winter 2020/2021, Spring 2021, Fall 2021.

To apply for specific positions or to submit your application for general consideration for any show within the season, email a letter of interest outlining what position(s) and/or production(s) you are interested in and why, a resume, and a digital portfolio if available (video or images) to [email protected]utmmt.org.

Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
