This October, Freshwater Theatre is proud to present the next installment in its Ivey award winning short play festival series, The Feminine Surcharge, to run in rep with our main stage production, Preferred by Discreet Women Everywhere, by Ruth Virkus.

With this production, Freshwater Theatre is looking to further examine the tremendous cost of presenting as feminine in our current society.

Second Skin is an audio-driven interactive adventure for a solo audience member. Participants experience the show through recorded audio in an app while moving around the West Bank neighborhood, making personal choices that determine the outcome of the story. Power Out, a short film directed by Lauren Keating and featuring Twin Cities actors Christina Baldwin and Leah Anderson.

Log Line: When Laura moves her teenage daughter Grace from Los Angeles back to her childhood home in Minnesota, the past is unearthed and their relationship is tested.

 

Seeking actors for a photo shoot, the results of which will be featured as social media content in the film. These roles are non-speaking; actors will participate in a photo shoot, capturing pre-determined set ups.

In addition to straightforward emcee work, we host live game shows, comedic trivia events, and other interactive entertainment for groups of 20 to 2000+ people. We are based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, but also travel throughout the Midwest for corporate events, fundraisers, and a weddings. We are WBE certified and were a Super Bowl 52 preferred entertainment vendor.

Actor needed for Six Characters in Search of an Author TODAY

Wonderlust Productions and Park Square Theatre present Six Characters in Search of an Author (meets reality TV), and we need a young (under 30) male actor to play a "tech". You'll have a few lines and operate a live camera. You'll also be working with a great cast on an innovative production of a classic play. The stipend is $300.
