Park Square Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for its 25th Anniversary production of The Diary of Anne Frank, directed by Ellen Fenster and Ryan Levin. This powerful story of human resilience in the face of oppression has been a core part of Park Square Theatre's work for the last quarter-century, and it has never felt as important as it does right now. 

We are currently seeking AEA and non-AEA actors of any experience level who identify as Jewish in culture, heritage and/or religion. 



Sunday August 28th,  10am-3pm @ Park Square Theatre (Thrust Rehearsal Hall)


Saturday September 3rd, 10am-2pm @ Park Square Theatre (Thrust Rehearsal Hall)

To get to the Thrust Rehearsal Hall, enter the Hamm Building via the main doors Saint Peter Street, and take the elevator one floor down. The Thrust Rehearsal Hall will be to your left as you exit the elevator. 


Casting for All Roles

Anna Frank - Female-identifying, 14-25 - A vivacious adolescent girl hiding with her family in Amsterdam during the Holocaust.


Margot Frank - Female identifying, 16-28, Anna's quieter older sister


Edith Frank - Female-identifying, 40s-60s, Anna's Mother


Peter Van Daam - Male-identifying, 14-25,  An adolescent boy also in hiding in the attic. Anna's love interest.


Mr. Van Daam - Male-identifying, 40s-60s, Peter's Father


Mrs. Van Daam - Female-identifying, 40s-60s, Peter's Mother


Mr. Dussel - Male-identifying, 30s-50s, A dentist who is in hiding with the families


Mr. Kraler - Male identifying, 30's-60's, Mr. Frank's employee who is helping the family stay hidden and provided for.


Miep Gies - Female-identifying, 25-35, Mr. Frank's employee who is helping the family stay hidden and provided for.


* Please note, while the characters of Kraler and Miep are historically not Jewish, we are seeking Jewish actors to play them as they may also serve as understudies for the other roles in the play. 



From December 5th, 2022, through January 17th, 2023, with a week break between December 24th and January 2nd for the Hannukah, Christmas and New Year's holidays.


From January 18th through February 12th, 2023, with Education Matinee performances through March 10th.
