Seeking Stage Manager for Horror Anthology Show

Rate of Pay:

Maximum Verbosity is currently seeking a stage manager for our upcoming production of Monsters in a Mirror: Strange Tales from the Chapel Perilous, taking place April 29-May 7. This is an anthology show based on a horror collection, featuring six short plays by six different directors; the SM will need to be available to meet with them in the preceding month and attend at least one rehearsal of each; to be present for tech week; and to oversee backstage logistics during performances. Comes with a $700 stipend.

Dragon shadows, bleeding statues, wolf dreams and time machines - your biological clock is ticking, and it's time to get metaphysical in this twisted cabaret of the macabre. This is the road map to your own personal inferno, fondly dedicated to everyone who is dying...especially you.

While the individual plays are still being developed, the collection on which they are based contains tales of horror and dark fantasy, and consequently some disturbing and violent imagery, including depictions of sexual assault.
