Additional Dates: 2 production meetings TBD
Hours: see attached Calendar; approx. 80hrs.
Compensation: $225 stipend, College Internship Credit*
*Depending on your program, this could be counted toward college credit. Consult your advisor at your University or College Program to determine eligibility. We are willing to fill out any necessary paperwork and evaluations.

Position Description:
Improv/theater performance based duties:
Encourage and help students memorize lines, song lyrics and choreography for the show.

Lead and engage the students in a variety of theatre/improv games - utilize the resources collected in the google drive or pull from your past experience. Feel free to get silly and join in the games with them to showcase a level of improv, creativity, and acting techniques you, as a more experienced performer, bring to the table.

Helping backstage during performances- this includes helping with costumes and props, helping young actors remain quiet and focused, Facilitating entrances and exits, aiding with set changes.

Strike- Ensuring all costumes and props are collected from students.

Stage management/administrative duties:

Check In/Check Out & Name Tag Creation - creating a sign-in/out sheet with all the students names on it and keeping track of attendance when they arrive and leave rehearsal. Keeping track of which students have permission to sign themselves in and out. Creating the name tags used during the beginning of rehearsals.

Calling/reaching out to parents/guardians of students if they haven’t arrived at rehearsal and it isn’t a day with a known conflict..

Perform duties that fall under the realm of stage management - Arranging, taping out and tidying props table, Sweeping the stage before camps each day, etc.

Time Keeper- Keeping track of the schedule during auditions and rehearsals and escorting students from location to location at the appropriate time.

Strike- Ensuring all microphones get properly returned and sanitized.

**There will be a Jr. Assistant to help during the Musical Theatre Camp with check-in/out, time keeping, theater games and running choreography with the students.

Must be at least 18 years of age
Should have some background with theatre and be excited to work with young first time actors
Should be able to work independently during breakout sessions
Be confident in leading theatre games and activities
