Sidekick Theatre Seeking Equity and Non-Equity Actors for 2021 Fall Season

Sidekick Theatre, a professional company under the artistic leadership of Tim Stolz and Brian Pekol, is seeking Equity and non-Equity actors for the 2021 fall season which will be presented at the Ives Auditorium, 11411 Masonic Home Dr., Bloomington, MN.  

BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO, a musical featuring the music of Neil Sedaka
Running Oct. 6 – November 18, 2021, with most performances on Wednesdays & Thursdays at 1pm with a few evenings and Sunday matinees. Rehearsals Sept. 13 – Oct. 5, 2021

One Man, 50s to 60s: baritone
Compensation: Equity SPT contract / Non-Equity:  rehearsal and per performance stipend.

DEVELOPMENTAL WORKSHOP FOR A NEW MUSICAL: Seeking actors for a developmental workshop of a new musical tentatively titled “CLUB KEYES.” This new play with original music is inspired by the true story of the only downtown nightclub in 1960s-era Minneapolis that catered to both black and white patrons. The workshop will include a series of 5 in-depth readings and discussions culminating in a staged reading. Timeline: November 1 - November 14, 2021. Compensation: rehearsal and performance stipend. 

A musical for young audiences
Nov. 16 through Dec. 30. There will be four to five performances a week Sun. thru Fri. at 10am and/or 12:30pm. Rehearsals begin Oct. 25.
