20% Theatre Company is seeking the following paid production staff positions for the world premiere of THE TERROR FANTASTIC by Nicole Jost, directed by Shalee Coleman this fall:
- Costume Designer - must have experience with construction/alteration
- Sound Designer - must be able to find/create sounds, underscore, etc. - not just SFX
- Stage Manager
Rehearsals begin in October, tech is immediately following Thanksgiving, and the production runs December 1-16 at The Crane Theater in Northeast Minneapolis. Rehearsal schedule is currently under development - there will be some weeknight and some weekend rehearsals. Stage manager must be able to commit to at least 80% of rehearsals before tech week. There will be an ASM.
Stipend for all three positions is $350, payable following strike on December 17.
Sound Designer & Costume Designer will have design budgets to work with, and should be passionate about collaboration with the design team to help create the world of the play. THE TERROR FANTASTIC blends modern reality with fantasy/fairy tale.
Rehearsals will take place at the Sabes Jewish Community Center in St. Louis Park. Having a car or rides to the JCC is ideal, especially in fall/winter - however the JCC is located on the bike path and is accessible by bus, but not later at night when rehearsal is over.
To inquire about any of these positions, please send an email of your interest with resume or list of experience to Claire Avitabile at [email protected].
