The Prom - Chanhassen Dinner Theatres
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is seeking video submissions for their upcoming production of The Prom. All roles are open – none have been pre-cast. Local actor/singer/dancers are encouraged to submit. For this show, we are looking to hire actors that will be at least 18 years old by the date of the first rehearsal (1/17/2023).
BIPOC performers are strongly encouraged to audition, and all roles are open to inclusive casting. Instructions

Callback Information
Actors who are called back will be notified via email. Callbacks will take place, in person, the week of June 27th. We will be conducting all callbacks in accordance with local, state, and national COVID-19 advisories, along with guidance from Actors’ Equity Association.

ANGIE DICKINSON
Female, Playable Age: 30-49, All Ethnicities, Vocal: alto with a belt

MRS. GREENE

Alyssa’s mother, and the school board president. Very strong, controlling and intimidating. ENSEMBLE
Characters are male and female, age 18+ to play high school students and various characters in the ensemble. All ethnicities. If you are interested in being considered for the ensemble, you can sing a song of your choice in the style of the show, or any of the the provided cuttings of “Tonight Belongs To You,” “You Happened” or “It’s Time To Dance.” Understudies for principal characters will perform in the ensemble.
Youth Auditions
Auditions are only available for adults 18+. There will be no youth auditions for The Prom.
