Wadsworth One-Act Showcase

Audition dates: Tuesday 3/28, Wednesday 3/29, Call back if needed Thursday 3/30 5-8pm at Phoenix Theater 2605 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408. Actors will be asked to prep a 1 minute monologue (Comedic or Dramatic) & may be asked to cold read sides by directors if desired (After one minute monologue).

Performances will be at Phoenix Theater on June 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, and July 1.  Rehearsal schedules TBD, will start in mid-April.

Actors will be paid a $100 stipend on opening night of the production.

The show will be comprised of four one-acts which include:

“Honeybee” a 20 minute drama written and directed by Zach Kunshier, 1 male presenting young adult, 1 female presenting young adult, 2 actors any gender any age. Will contain adult themes like domestic violence and addiction.

"Murder By Midnight” a 10-15 minute comedy written by Jeff Goode and directed by Derrick Smith. 1 female presenting, 2 male presenting (some gender flexibility). 

“B.I.R.D.” a 15 minute comedy written and directed by Wali Mahmood, 2 actors any gender.

“On The Porch One Crisp Spring Morning” a 12 minute comedy by Alex Dremann directed by Becky Erickson, 2 women (Mother and adult daughter).

Must be at least 18 years of age to audition.
