Giving thanks for theater

It's Thanksgiving season, and Minnesota's theater community has plenty to be thankful for. We asked a variety of local theater folks to share what fills them with gratitude. I am thankful that in the space of 12 days, I got to see a big dramatic musical, an Agatha Christie whimsy, an immersive theater experience where I got to play with the actors, a surreal play with beautiful words and a play created by and performed by actors, musicians and I’m thankful that Twin Cities arts writing hasn't slid fully into the era of Buzzfeed journalism, and that we still have room and readers for publications like Playlist that appreciate good writing and community engagement over pageviews and search engine optimization.
