Morgan Thorson is a dance-maker and performer based in Minneapolis. She is a 2010-2011 Guggenheim Foundation Fellow in Choreography and has been named “Best Choreographer” of 2010 and 2008 by the Minneapolis-St. Paul City Pages. Core interests in her dance-making are the tension between the limitations of the body (culturally and physically), the expansive nature of the imagination, and the emotional current inside movement.
