Jen Burleigh-Bentz began her acting career in the small town of Baldwin, WI, moved east to get her BS in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, during which time she began traveling the country, gleaning knowledge, work ethic and experience from every theme park and Nunsense production that she could! She has performed internationally with the Ordway’s Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, with Troupe America’s Miracle on 34th Street and Troika's Cheers: Live onstage and was blessed to spend 4 years performing on Broadway in Mamma Mia! Locally Jen has been seen at the Guthrie in Music Man and The Winter's Tale, the Old Log in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the Ordway in Into The Woods, Bingo, & Legendary Ladies & Mamma Mia!, Chanhassen in Mamma Mia!, she loved playing Snow White in Casting Spell's Disenchanted, Laverne Andrews in Christmas of Swing and Sisters of Swing, Mrs. Winter in Working Boys’ Band and Judy Garland in Beyond the Rainbow for the History Theatre in St. Paul. Queenie in Lippa's Wild Party is still one of Jen's favorite roles, but its been challenged by the roles of Annie in Annie Get your Gun, Violet Newstead in 9 to 5 and Maria in the Sound of Music at the Minnetonka Civic Theater. Working at Artistry in A New Brain gave Jen a role like NO other - she literally got to be a torch singer and a crazed mother throwing books. Amazing piece. Great shows in her past include: Hello Dolly!, 1940’s Radio Hour, Chicago, JCSS, Guys ‘n Dolls, All Night Strut, My Way, HONK!, School House Rock, Anything Goes, Fantasticks, Dark of the Moon, Gypsy, Quilters and Hey City Theater's Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding, Subprime the Play, etc.
