Biography

Originally from Cincinnati, Laurie is a graduate of Miami University and a proud member 25 year member of AEA, & SAG-AFTRA.  Laurie has been fortunate to live and perform in NYC, LA, Tokyo and London before landing in Chicago and calling it home for the last 20 plus years. Laurie most recently played the con-artist/New Yorker Robyn in Jen Silverman's dark comedy, The Roommate at Lake Dillon Theatre Co. in Colorado. Recent credits: The Cake (Della) Human Race Theatre Co. OH,  Good People (Jean), New Harmony Theatre IN, Light Up the Sky (Irene Livingston), Citadel Theatre, IL; Menopause the Musical (Soap Star), Fireside Theatre, WI; Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Masha), Artists’ Ensemble Theatre, IL; It Shoulda Been You (Georgette Howard), Farmers Alley Theatre, MI; Favorite past credits include: Follies, Drury Lane Oakbrook; Bed Full of Foreigners, Drury Lane South; Jesus Christ Superstar (National Tour with Ted Neely and Carl Anderson);  Sunset Boulevard (London’s West End starring Betty Buckley) TV/Film: Chicago Med, The Tonight Show, Early Edition.
