Biography

Originally from Cincinnati, Laurie is a graduate of Miami University and a proud member of AEA, & SAG-AFTRA.  Laurie has been fortunate to live and perform in NYC, LA, Tokyo and London before landing in Chicago and calling it home for the last 20 plus years. Laurie most recently played the tempermental leading lady, Irene Livingston, in the Moss Hart comedy Light Up the Sky at Citadel Theatre in Lake Forest, IL.  She was also seen by Michigan audiences last summer as Georgette Howard in the hilarious musical It Shoulda Been You at Farmers Alley Theatre in Kalamazoo.   Favorite past theatre credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Nat’l AEA Tour), Sunset Boulevard (London’s West End starring Betty Buckley), Masha in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Artists’ Ensemble), Follies (Drury Lane Oakbrook), The Names and Come Back (Equity Library Theatre), and Bedfull of Foreigners (Drury Lane South).   Among her TV and film credits are Early Edition, The Tonight Show, and many independent film productions including Inside the Woods, produced by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Laurie also enjoys print and voice-over work in Chicago and is represented by NV Talent.
