Maretta Zilic is originally from Madison, WI. She came to the Twin Cities to attend The University of St. Catherine getting her BA in Theatre Arts. She then spent several years working in regional and academic theater in the Midwest before heading to Savannah, GA for graduate school. She has recently graduated with her MFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). After years of classically based training, she focused on gaining experience with contemporary and film acting. She has trained with the Prague Shakespeare Company, focusing on Original Pronunciation Shakespeare accent with David and Ben Crystal. While there she performed in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" as Oberon/Philostrate directed by Lisa Wolpe. She is excited to be back in the Twin Cities.
