Biography

Martha Juliana is currently finishing her MFA in theatre at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Originally from Bucaramanga, Colombia. She grew up and studied in Bogota where she graduated from a BA in Mass Communication with a specialization in audio-visual production from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
Having the opportunity to work in film and theatre, both on stage and back stage, Martha Juliana has experience in acting, film production, film coordination, casting assistance, set construction, set painting, costume altering and teaching.
As an actress, Martha Juliana made her Minnesota State, Mankato debut as “Gorgo” in Frankenstein 1930, and later roles include “Julia” in 1984 and “Mayannah” in Brainpeople. Moreover, as a production assistant she had the opportunity to work in the movie “Palm Trees in the Snow” directed by Fernando Gonzalez Molina, and as a production supervisor for Dynamo Producciones, a Colombian film company.
