Grace Community Theatre will be having in-person auditions for its production of “Willy Wonka, Jr.” on May 18 & 19. This is an all children’s cast for children ages 10 to 17 years old (18 if just completed Senior year of high school).
Rehearsals: June 2 – August 7, Sundays from 6pm to 8pm, Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Tech Week: August 11-15 – everyday from 6pm to 9pm
Performances: August 16 - 7:00 pm Show (5:30pm Call time)
August 17 - 2:00 pm Show (12:30pm Call time)
August 17 - 7:00 pm Show (5:30pm Call Time)
August 18 - 5:00 pm Show (3:30pm Call Time)

Audition Information
To Audition: Sign-up for an audition time-slot and fill out the registration form linked here: https://calendly.com/pastorshan_/willy-wonka-jr-auditions.
Please select a time to audition. Prepare a song in the style of the show. It should be no longer than 1 minute. Please have a karaoke track or a recorded piano track for your song, meaning no vocals on the track. Acapella is not permitted. Please plan on arriving at the top of the hour or on the 30 of the hour (if you sign up for the 2:15pm slot arrive at 2:00 & if you sign up for the 4:40pm slot arrive at 4:30pm). Plan to stay for the whole 30 minutes. We will start with singing individually, then run through some lines as a group, and run through a short dance combination. A video link to the dance combination will be provided upon registering for an audition time. Please be familiar with the dance combination as we will only have time to run the combination twice during the audition.

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.
