An evening rich with jazz dance, original music, and storytelling! Accompanied by newly composed and live music, the evening will include concert works by artistic director, Karis Sloss. First Nights will include a preview of Sloss’ future evening length work-Foot Flight by Night, an evening length adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Local composers Richard Sloss, Brian Just, Reese Kling and Nathaniel Kling are creating the score for Foot Flight by Night ; creating a unique soundscape for all the different lands, characters and stories that are wrapped into Foot Flight. Not to be missed, this preview is a story filled with magic, mystery, betrayal, and...a monkey!
