"Elegant, acerbic and entertainingly fueled on pure bile. It's Reza's sharpest work since Art," Variety wrote about God of Carnage.  In this magnificently constructed Tony Award-winning play, an altercation between 11-year old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed but, as the meeting progresses and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters. The New York Times hailed, "[A] streamlined anatomy of the human animal…delivers the cathartic release of watching other people's marriages go boom…this play is itself a satisfyingly primitive entertainment."

BCT is a program of the Bloomington Theatre and Art Center (BTAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2009 from the merger of Bloomington Civic Theatre and Bloomington Art Center. BTAC offers high quality theater productions, art education for children and adults, and visual arts exhibitions featuring the work of emerging and established artists from Minnesota and surrounding states.  BCT is proud to be a participating theater in the Twin Cities Ivey Awards.
