Story Club Minneapolis

This month, Story Club is glad to present Paula Reed Nancarrow and Thressa Johnson. Nancarrow is a writer and performer of personal and historical narratives, as well as folk tales and myths, that reflect the texture and complexity of family and community life. Johnson has competed with and coached the Hamline University Poetry Slam team, and performs around the Twin Cities. Her first poetry collection, A Particular Weight, was published last year. Johnson is also an enthusiastic preschool teacher and a resentful grad student.
