Based on the book by E.T.A. Hoffmann and the beloved Nutcracker Ballet, the show dives into the background of the characters you only thought you knew. Marie Stahlbaum discovers the magical Land of Sweets where betrayal, magic, and heartbreak turn two friends into bitter enemies – one bent on destroying the kingdom, and one who will do anything to protect it. Marie realizes that their final battle is coming tonight, and she may be the key to winning. World Premiere as part of the 2016 Minnesota Fringe Festival.
