Nominated for both the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 1980 Tony Award for Best Play, Bent, which made its Minneapolis premiere in 1983, is a powerfully tragic and deeply revealing examination of the treatment of gay men in 1930's Germany.

‘I love you. What’s wrong with that?’
Max and Rudy are sent to Dachau concentration camp. Their crime: being gay. Set in Nazi Germany during and after the Night of the Long Knives, ‘Bent’ follows the life of Max, a young gay man, and his experience at Dachau. He meets Horst, another gay man, in the camp, and their friendship develops during their conversations moving rocks - a punishment intended to drive them mad. Based on the real experiences of homosexuals during World War II, ‘Bent’ explores an important story that questions the meaning loyalty, friendship, sex, and love in a place that seems to lack all four.

• Named among the "10 most influential postwar British plays" by Guardian UK!
• "Powerful and provocative." - The New York Times
• "Brilliant...an explosive, overpowering experience." - Women's Wear Daily

"Bent" contains coarse language, mature themes, and scenes of a sexual nature.

Glorifying the triumph of the human spirit, The Elephant Man has been hailed by The New York Times as a “startling act of magic.” In 19th-century England, John Merrick is born with a genetic condition that leaves him horribly disfigured. First viewed as a carnival sideshow freak, he is ultimately embraced by the highest levels of English society. As Merrick struggles to understand what it means to be human, he imparts on others a lesson about dignity and ultimately proves that true beauty lies in the eye – and the soul – of the beholder.

Music by: Andrew Lloyd Webber
Lyrics by: Tim Rice

Directed and Choreographed by Michael Matthew Ferrell

Music Director: Denise Prosek

“… a fun night of quick-paced theatrical entertainment.” (Katherine Waddell, Broadway World Review)

Joseph is an ageless tale set to a bold new beat in Director/Choreographer Michael Matthew Ferrell’s staging. Reimagined to reflect Ferrell’s lyrical and athletic styles, this story about overcoming odds and fulfilling one’s destiny will captivate contemporary audiences of all ages. Featuring one of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s catchiest scores in a myriad of musical styles, Joseph tells the tale of a young dreamer haunted by prophetic visions that he will one day rule over his eleven jealous brothers.  Fueled by animosity, his brothers sell Joseph into slavery in dangerous and unfamiliar Egypt, where he must find his own way and face the greatest trials of his life.
