Buddy is a biographical musical that celebrates the meteoric career of the late Buddy Holly, a musical pioneer and vital contributor to the American rock n’ roll scene in the late 1950s. Much of Buddy’s story is told through the music of the era and will be performed live by actors onstage.

Though many of the tracks in the production play historical figures, all roles are open to members of any racial/cultural background. This February, the Northfield Arts Guild Theater is hosting auditions for all remaining shows in our Journey Home Theater Season. Know your role and schedule before planning your spring or summer vacation!
Expressions Community Theater will be holding auditions for Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias. Auditions will be held at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Avenue on January 21 and 22 from 6 - 8 p.m. with callbacks on the January 23. Please bring a headshot or current photo with you along with your calendar. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. The read through will be on January 28 and rehearsals begin February 4.
Mall of America/Nickelodeon Universe is holding auditions for performer positions. Primary duties include wearing a full body character costume and acting as a character escort. Occasional opportunities possible to emcee events, host games and dance.

The Prior Lake Players Community Theatre will be performing Oscar Wilde's classic comedy "The Importance of Being Earnest" this October/November. Parts for men and women 18+.
Auditions will be held Monday, August 20 & Tuesday, August 21st from 7 - 9 PM at Twin Oaks Middle School in Prior Lake. Auditioners will perform cold readings from the show, materials will be provided. First come, first served: we will not be scheduling appointments.
