Walking Shadow Theatre Company and the Black Forest Inn present

FEAST

by Megan Gogerty

directed by Allison Vincent

performed by Isabel Nelson

The table is set. The banquet is ready. Please, join us. Your host is the nemesis of your forefathers, the sea-hag, the bog-witch, mother of Grendel, an ancient magickal creature in the form of a middle-aged lady, thirsting for revenge.

Experience this fierce one-woman theatrical event where mythology crashes into modern society during an actual feast, with food and drink curated by the Black Forest Inn (show-only tickets also available)! Get ready to dig in.

Do you trust your leaders? When is violence justified? What sins can be pardoned? How long has it been since you've been touched? Come together in a ceremony of shared sustenance to experience the sensations of being alive again. Savor the ritual of eating, find hope, and learn who will get their just deserts.

Menu Options:

  • Meal 1: Szegediner (German pork and sauerkraut goulash) and spätzle*
  • Meal 2: Chicken Paprikash (on the bone) and spätzle*
  • Meal 3: Potato goulash and mixed greens salad (vegan and gluten free meal)
