Musical

The FOX & BEGGAR THEATER presents its eighth feature-length production, "TIGRE! TIGRE!", a new show about humankind's absurd relationship to technological progress.

Our story begins at the dawn of the Scientific Revolution, where a pair of Medieval two-dimensional paper dolls are building the first thing to exist in the next dimension-- a human.

Combining puppetry, traditional clown theater, and a live score influenced by everything from Medieval court music to Gilbert & Sullivan, "TIGRE! TIGRE!" explores humanity's relationship to technology while asking the fundamental question: what drives us to perpetually open new doors that we know we won't be able to close?

We are excited to visit Caponi Art Park for the first time ever. Come catch an unticketed performance atop our spectacular mobile theater.

Bring friends and a lawn chair or picnic blanket, and make sure to dress for the weather in case we get an unexpectedly chilly night.
