Biography

Jack Bonko is a recent graduate from Minnesota State University Moorhead where he majored in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting as well as Integrated Public Relations and Advertising. He is a teaching artist with Ashland Productions and SteppingStone theatre. Jack Bonko was a young actor supervisor swing for A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie. Currently, he is a young actor supervisor at the Guthrie for NOURA. Some shows Jack has been a part of are Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), The Full Monty (Malcolm), Colossal (Jerry), You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy), Really Really (Johnson), Putnam County Spelling Bee (Vice Principal Panch) and many more. Jack also enjoys film acting and won the Best Male Actor Award at MSUM’s Film Juries Final (Silver Linings Playbook) and has been in original short film festivals such as Fargo Fantastic Film Festival, South Dakota Film Festival and Headwaters Film Festival. He enjoys working with children of all ages, using theatre to help them find their voice.
