Kory LaQuess Pullam was born and raised on the west side of Corpus Christi, Texas. He earned his BFA at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013. Since moving to the Twin Cities that year, Kory has worked with the Guthrie Theater, Children's Theatre Company, Ten Thousand Things Theatre, Penumbra Theatre Company, Mixed Blood Theatre, Park Square Theatre, Pillsbury House Theatre, History Theatre, Brave New Workshop, Walking Shadow Theatre Company, Theatre Pro Rata, Girl Friday Productions, and much more. Kory is the founding artistic director of Underdog Theatre. He is also a founding member of Blackout Improv, the premiere Black comedy troupe of the Twin Cities. Most recently, Kory is the new Education Manager at Penumbra Theatre Company where he oversees Summer Institute and RACE Workshop programming.
