Audition for Six Elements Theatre's annual stage combat event! This year, we’re presenting a mid-season all-star game with representatives from each team in the Midwest Combat Chess League as they band together for “best-two-out-of-three” game exhibition match!
The Rosemount Front Porch Players, part of the Rosemount Area Arts Council, will be presenting Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” at the Steeple Center Arts Center in Rosemount directed by Keith Reed. Performance dates March 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13. AUDITIONS for EIGHT roles will be held at the Rosemount Community Center, 13885 S. Robert Trail in Rosemount on Sunday, December 13, Monday, December 14 6-9 pm with callbacks if needed on Tuesday, December 15 from 6-9pm. Do you want to make a killing for a living? The Murder Mystery Company, the nation’s experts in murder mystery dinner theatre, is constantly expanding.
The Children’s Theatre Company is seeking young male student actors, with unchanged voices, ages 10-13 for additional roles in the spring production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Auditions will be Friday, December 18th from 4-7pm and Saturday, December 19th from 11-2pm at CTC. Audition slots will be conducted in 1-hour increments that include learning a dance combination, singing a prepared song and reading prepared sides- all prepared material will be sent to you in advance. Mission Theatre Company is seeking performers for its upcoming world premiere production of Sam Graber’s Everything’s Free! to be presented April 23- May 7, 2016. Everything's Free! follows a young couple facing financial ruin. They receive a strange and mysterious offer: a credit card which can be used anywhere, for any amount, and doesn't require any payment. We follow Tyler and Mackenzie as they navigate the joys and consequences of spending like they will never get the bill. Some Conditions Apply...what would you do?

Mad Munchkin Productions is seeking imaginative actor/mover/puppeteers for our exciting original work Snow Bound! A Journey from Autumn to Spring in collaboration with award winning dance company Eclectic Edge Ensemble.
Eden Prairie Players will be holding auditions for Father of the Bride, written by Caroline Francke and directed by Stephen Houtz.
When: Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8, with callbacks on Wednesday, December 9.
Time: Sign-in begins at 6:30 pm and auditions will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. People will read in the order they arrive and can leave when finished reading.
Hero Now Theatre is casting roles for 5 men, late twenties to early forties, and 1 woman, late twenties to early thirties. One role (the role of Robert Falcon Scott) has already been cast.
A stipend of $350 will be paid to each actor, with additional pay if extra performances are added.
Actors must be available for rehearsals on weekday nights beginning in early December. Some weekend rehearsals are possible.

Theater & literary classic "Everyman" is being produced as part of Season 5 at Open Window Theatre in our newly expanded theatre space in the Lower North Loop of Minneapolis. Performances run February 19 - March 20. We're giving a modern flare to this medieval piece of theater history, setting the show in an urban jungle landscape with a stylized blend of contemporary and medieval influences. The show will be staged in the round featuring a live musical soundscape and creative ensemble movement choreographed by SPARK Theater & Dance.
Shakespeare’s masterpiece RICHARD III, directed by George M. Roesler, will audition for 6 women and 14 men, ages 18-60+, on Monday, November 30 and Wednesday, December 2. RICHARD III performs February 12 – March 6, 2016.

Conference of the Birds metaphorically maps out the journey of the human ego and the quest for truth. In this classic Sufi tale, the birds of the world, each of whom symbolize human faculties, are at first anxious to begin their search, but when they realize how hazardous the journey is, they begin to make excuses and many abandon their search. In the end the small number of birds that survive uncover a profound secret.
