As part of the Rosemount Area Arts Council’s second annual Art Blast, which is held the last week of June, The Rosemount Front Porch Players will be presenting another of its always popular melodramas on June 23 at 7:30 pm in the Central Park Amphitheater. The Front Porch Players will be holding open auditions for parts in the melodrama on Tuesday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 6 from 6-9 pm. The Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company will hold auditions for its 2015 Minnesota Fringe Festival production of Trial by Jury on Sunday, May 17, 2015, 5:00 to 7:00 pm, and Monday, May 18, 2014, 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
