Seeking skilled, versatile musical theatre performers who would like to showcase their talents this summer at The Fringe!
Another Opening, Another Show which is being presented this summer at The Minnesota Fringe Festival is seeking experienced singing actors (6 Women/ 4 Men) of many ages and types who move well and can perform comfortably in a wide variety of styles. A performer may step forward with solo work in one segment and then be part of the ensemble in the next.

The show, tentatively titled "Pretty People Suck and Other Indisputable Facts About the Universe," will be a collection of three 15 minute original musicals. Show dates will be:

History Theatre Auditions for River Road Boogie: The Augie Garcia Story – a new musical by Joe Minjares, directed by Raul Ramos. We need a Latino Male 45-55 years old for the role of Pa Garcia. He speaks English and Spanish and is a singer. We need a soft Ethnic Female 25-35 years old who speaks English and Spanish and sings. She will cover the roles of Mama Garcia, Arlie Haberlie and Phyllis. We need a Latino Male 25-40 yrs old who speaks English and Spanish who sings, plays drums and guitar. He will cover the roles of Frank Garcia, Jessie Lopez and Customer.

Currently casting singer/actors for principle roles and ensemble members. Performers of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Singers should prepare a jazz ballad. Dancers should have strong musical theater and jazz technique. Tap dancing is preferred but not required.

Our show is a one act adaptation of Romeo and Juliet told as a memory play by Benvolio. Our vision of the show is set in a dystopian society where the city is split in half by the Montague's and the Capulet's. Our show focuses on the youngest generation of each house and how they each deal with the feud and the effect it has on them. This show will be performed as part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Doctor Dolittle sought for summer production of Doctor Dolittle Eden Prairie Players seeks actor 30 - 45 to portray Doctor Dolittle ~ Baritone who moves well, though needn't be a strong dancer, is playful and can play somewhat scatterbrained. Must also be proficient in standard British accent.

MVCT will produce Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA in July. This is the Enchanted Edition, produced by Whitney Houston in 1997, which has updated music and fun characters throughout.
Auditions will be held at United Theological Seminary - 3000 5th Street, New Brighton, MN 55112 on Tuesday April 22 and Thursday April 24, both from 7:30-9pm and on Saturday April 26 from 12:30-2pm.
Children, ages 8-12, may audition for some fun supporting roles at the beginning of each session.
