Teatro del Pueblo and Pangea World Theater are thrilled to announce auditions for the upcoming production of "Homo Dramaticus" by Alberto Adellach. We invite passionate and versatile actors to join us in bringing this compelling series of three short plays to life.
Audition Details:
- Dates: July 7-8, 2024
- Times: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM (individual audition times will be scheduled upon application)
- Location: Pangea World Theater, 711 W Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55408
- Preparation: Please prepare two 2–3-minute contrasting monologues and be ready for cold readings from the script. You can also bring an optional movement piece.
About the Play:
"Homo Dramaticus" is comprised of three distinct short plays, each delving into different aspects of the human condition:
- Children (Criaturas): This play examines the innocence and complexities of childhood through the eyes of its characters.
- March (Marcha): A reflection on movement, progress, and the collective human journey.
- Words (Palabras): An exploration of communication, language, and the power of words in shaping our realities.
- Rehearsal Dates: October 1, 2024 - November 7, 2024
- Performance Dates: November 7-17, 2024
- Performance Location: The Southern Theater, 1420 Washington Ave S, Minneapolis, MN. 55454
Available roles: 5-8 actors, any gender, 20-60s.
