General Audition Information
Auditions will be held in person in the John H. Potter Theater at the Phipps Center for the Arts located at 109 Locust St. Hudson, WI 54016.
This audition is open to performers in grades 7-9.
Audition Details
Auditions will be held in 40-minute time slots on Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18 from 6:00-9:00 PM. More audition slots may be added if all the available slots fill up.

Those auditioning will be asked to perform one or both of the provided sides, 30-60 seconds of a song in the style of the show (or from the show), and the provided dance combination. The sides and video of the dance combination will be emailed after signing up.
If needed, callbacks will be held on Thursday, February 20 from 6:00-9:00 PM in the John H. Potter Theater at the Phipps.
What to Bring
- Sheet music or a phone with your music track on it.
- Clothing and shoes you can dance in.
- If you haven't submitted your audition form before the audition, please bring a resume and headshot.
About the Show
Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
Scheduling Information
Rehearsals Begin: Monday, March 10, 2025
Rehearsals will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00-8:30 PM.
Tech Week Begins: Saturday, April 19
Performances: April 25–May 4, 2025
Fridays at 7:00 pm | Saturdays at 1:00 pm & 4:00 pm | Sundays at 2:00 pm
Potential Student Matinees: Thursday, May 1 at 9:30 am and 12:15 pm
COVID Policy
Masks are optional during auditions and rehearsals. Tech rehearsals and performances will be unmasked.
Proof of vaccination is no longer required.
