Aspire Music Academy has an incredible performing opportunity coming up as a part of our camps for Summer 2024: Bring It On! The Musical. Auditions for this incredible production will be May 17-19 at Aspire Music Academy.
Age Group: Entering Grades 6-12, Young Adults
Dates: June 11 - June 29, 2024
Detailed Schedule and Format:
- Auditions: May 17-19, 2024 (in-person auditions preferred; video auditions will be supported)
- June 11-14
- Rehearsals 3:00 - 6:00 pm (choreography for all performers, vocal work for ensemble and lead performers)
- Week of June 17-21, Week of June 24-29
- Every day camp experience; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday for two weeks, plus a final Saturday performance

Sprinkled with sass and inspired by the hit film, Bring It On! The Musical takes audiences on a high-flying journey that is filled with the complexities of friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness. Uniting some of the freshest and most talented creative minds on Broadway, featuring music and lyrics by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda and other powerhouse Broadway collaborators, Bring It On! follows a group of high-performing young people who overcome their differences and come together to perform at the highest level!
Performers do not have to have previous experience in cheer, gymnastics or acrobatics to join this experience! If you’d want the chance to learn these skills, our staff includes professional cheer coaches and choreography experts!
With a colorful assortment of characters, an exciting fresh sound and explosive choreography with aerial stunts, this hilarious, universal story is sure to be everything that you hoped for and nothing like you expected. Whether you are a singer, dancer, actor, or cheerleader, we can’t wait to see you all shine in this spectacular production of Bring It On!
Tuition assistance is available to ensure everyone wishing to participate can join us. Every performer who enrolls will be cast in the show! The performance venue is the spectacular Loft Stage at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, MN. Rehearsals are at the Aspire Music Academy performance center in Oakdale, MN.
