LONG LAKE THEATER ANNOUNCES SEASON AUDITION NOTICE
Please read entire post for information.
Welcome to LLT’s 2024 season auditions! This post covers shows July-December. Long Lake Theater is located in Hubbard County, MN (Park Rapids). It’s a bustling summer spot with lots of cabins, lake homes, locals and tourism. The theater property is comprised of 2 churches built in the late 1800s that have been renovated into intimate theaters each capable of hosting 104 guests. Nestled between the theaters sits our screen porch pub which is licensed for beer/wine and lots of fun! The porch brings it all together with a cozy, up north, cabin-like feel and is the space we use as our lobby and where we share many cast meals together as a theater “family”. We are 3 blocks from Long Lake and surrounded by trees, fireflies, and mosquitoes as big as butterflies. The following auditions are for shows that will rehearse in the Minneapolis area (Plymouth/Crystal zone) and travel up north for performances, with the exceptions of “Ghost Stories” and “A Christmas Carol” which will play both areas. Food, travel, and lodging is provided for away shows. Thank you for your interest and we can’t wait to meet you! Audition format at the end of post. Character descriptions, and additional information can be sent to you by request.
