Dandemonium Productions LLC in association with See-Saw Theatre Lab is seeking six actors to play the core ensemble in a new adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s fantasy classic The Halloween Tree, presented at the Southern Theater October 2024.

The Halloween Tree was developed as part of New Victory LabWorks at The New Victory Theater in New York City, following initial workshops in Minneapolis and at Ithaca College. This world premiere will be the first fully staged presentation of the show.

THE HALLOWEEN TREE ©1972 by Ray Bradbury. Performed and adapted with the permission of Ray Bradbury Literary Works, LLC and Don Congdon Associates, Inc.

About the show: On Halloween night, a group of trick-or-treaters must go on an epic adventure through time and space to save one of their own from a dark, mysterious force. From Egypt to Britain to France to Mexico, our young heroes will learn not only about themselves but about the true meaning of Halloween. It is a timeless story about wonder, mortality, and friendship. This theatrical adventure combines multiple styles of puppetry with imaginative story theater.

Rehearsals will primarily be in the evenings beginning in September, leading up to a week of performances in late October at the Southern Theater.
